Still don't know Polyzme Tech?

Introduction

Plastic is one of the most important and controversial inventions of the last 60 years, and its use is constantly growing. Its uses are multiple, as are the negative effects on the environment. The trend is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, and Polyzme Tech is dedicated to ensuring that plastic products have a safe and non-polluting “end of life” for our world, increasingly threatened in an environmentally conscious society.

“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is promoted as a solution, but implementation is of limited effectiveness. Until now there has been no 100% effective way to stop plastic waste and remove pollution from the environment. In developing countries the challenge is even greater than in the Western world.

Put bluntly, plastic waste is a huge and growing problem.

OUR OPPORTUNITY

Plastic waste is a growing environmental problem — but solutions are at hand. Education is of primary importance, but failing that, prevention is key. This is made possible by the use of biodegradable film.

This material is designed to break down naturally in the environment, making it an ethical alternative to conventional plastics, which can take hundreds of years to biodegrade. R&D investment is driving this movement — and Polyzme Tech is leading the field.

Polyzme Tech believes that all organisations, not those limited to agricultural production, should support an environmentally and economically sustainable society. Communication with producers, farmers and other key organisations is crucial for a successful transition.

In 2018, the European Union introduced strategies to ensure that producer responsibility is aligned with the Circular Economy, the European Green Deal, and emerging biological strategies.

Polyzme Tech offers smarter solutions: an environmentally friendly plastic process which leaves conventional plastic 100% biodegradable. No traces are left, no microplastics in the soil, no hazardous substances.

Non-biodegradable plastic must be phased-out to usher in fresh, friendlier innovations.

Our opportunity

One of the solutions to this growing problem is the use of biodegradable plastic. This type of plastic is designed to break down naturally in the environment, which makes it a practical alternative to conventional plastics which can take hundreds of years to decompose.  The research and development of new materials for biodegradable plastic is accelerating due to investments in this field. Polyzme Tech is one of them.

Polyzme Tech believes that all organisations withing agriculture and other areas should support an environmentally and economically sustainable society. Communication with producers, farmers and other organizations is key for a successful transition to this new society. In 2018, the European Union decided on strategies which ensure that producer responsibility schemes are aligned with the circular economy, the European Green Deal, and emerging plastics strategies.

Polyzme Tech is on board with smarter solutions that promote environmentally friendly plastic processes by making it 100% biodegradable, leaving no trace of microplastics in the soil, and eliminating any hazardous substances.

In simple terms: Prevent the production of non-biodegradable plastic & promote new solutions.

Objectives

Knowledge

Find ways of water conservation in areas where the usage is the greatest.
polyzme-icono-mejorar

Improve

The resilience of crops by reducing the excessive use of water and chemicals.

Support

Policies, stake holders, enterprises and investors need to convert this into an opportunity by supporting the economies of agricultural nations that can improve farming techniques.

VISION

To responsibly protect the environment for future generations, with ethical and moral standards as primary considerations.

MISSION

We are adapting a single, viable approach for all types polymers using cutting-edge Polyzme Technology. The end of plastic, thanks to Nature, and biodegradability.

Global environmental problem

Although EU policy is zero waste to landfill, there are still streams which end up in landfill and/or litter.

Some Western countries carry out non-environmentally friendly solutions:

Incinerate plastic

Export/sell their plastic waste to developing countries

Most directives assume plastics are recycled.

Co-polymer packaging is not entirely recyclable.

ENVIRONMENT
PLASTIC MULCH FILM

Standard Mulch film has disadvantages if used wrongly.

In China, the largest mulch film used, they have found plastic residues from 60-135k-g/ha in different cotton, corn and vegetable fields.

In Xingjian, northwest region, the plastic residue found in a cotton field had an average of 381kg/ha.

The goal is to learn from previous mistakes.
